What are biometrics and how are they used?
Biometrics is the science and technology of authentication (i.e. establishing the identity of an individual) by measuring the person's physiological or behavioral features.
We specialize in biometric fingerprint recognition devices that identify a user's fingerprint ridge pattern to create a binary number which represents certain points in the pattern. With this information, a user's finger is scanned and the fingerprint pattered is detected and used for access control through a keyless door lock.
This biometric security keyless door lock system allows for complete keyless entry using only a fingerprint authentication.

PORTABLE, SECURE DATA STORAGE
To bring about the innovations in the new BioVault 2.0, Sequiam Biometrics retained Helix Design, an award winning industrial design firm in Manchester, NH. The BioVault is a storage vault that can only be accessed through biometrics, specifically a person's fingerprint. There are no keys to lose or combinations to forget. Sequiam Biometrics invented this biometric technology and is now taking it to the next level providing faster access, more memory capacity, power saving mode and a host of new features.
The new and improved BioVault 2.0 was officially introduced at the National Rifle Association Annual Convention in Houston, TX on April 14, 2005. The BioVault is an NRA endorsed firearms safety product and FingerprintDoorLocks.com is pleased to offer this new model to NRA members as well as the general public.
