What are biometrics and how are they used?
Biometrics is the science and technology of authentication (i.e. establishing the identity of an individual) by measuring the person's physiological or behavioral features.
We specialize in biometric fingerprint recognition devices that identify a user's fingerprint ridge pattern to create a binary number which represents certain points in the pattern. With this information, a user's finger is scanned and the fingerprint pattered is detected and used for access control through a keyless door lock.

The DL600 does not store an image of a users fingerprint!!
A person's fingerprint pattern cannot be recreated with data stored on the DL600

The DL-600 is a "state of the art " AA battery operated lock offers all the bells and whistles. This Chrome with brass accent lock is a stainless steel fingerprint door handle that holds 120 fingerprint users within 4 different groups (2 templates per user). This lock has a coating so it will never fade, rust or discolor. The lock assembly is completely sealed to prevent from oscillating, moisture, corrosion and loosening.
The DL-600 is the most durable and elegant lock on the market today offering a built in dead bolt and user management functions. We are so sure we give you a 1 Yr. Replacement warranty if the unit fails, fades, or corrodes or stops working for any reason. The DL-600 features a 5-latch DIN ANSI mortise for added security.
